Asset Intellect Mobile App – Inspections & Rounds

The Asset Intellect Mobile app brings data capture to the field, even without a network connection.

Available on both Android and Apple devices, Asset Intellect Mobile enables field users to log data offline and sync it back to the system when connectivity is restored. No more delays, workarounds, or lost records between the plant floor and the control room. Your field team can keep working regardless of signal, and the data gets where it needs to go.

Sharepoint Integration

Asset Intellect now connects directly with SharePoint, bringing your document library into the same environment where your operational data lives.

Filter and display documents from specific SharePoint folders without leaving Asset Intellect, keeping relevant reference material close to the data your team is already working with. On the output side, generated reports can be automatically pushed to SharePoint through Scheduling Engine Task, removing the manual step of exporting and uploading files after every run.

Additional Improvements

Enhanced Power BI Integration

Asset Intellect can now embed Microsoft Power BI dashboards and enable interactive publish/subscribe capabilities with other Asset Intellect components, including custom applications and web pages.
This connects Power BI insights with real-time operational and asset data, creating a more integrated experience where users can move seamlessly between dashboards, applications, visualisations, and actions.

Report Builder

Script actions now have a Convert to PDF option.
When this option is enabled, the Print to PDF settings become available, letting you convert the generated file to PDF format.

Significantly Improved Performance

Large-scale PI Asset Framework environments load and navigate significantly faster, with smoother handling of complex asset hierarchies in multi-user deployments.
Additional optimisations to HTTP communications and security token management have further improved portal performance, delivering a faster and more responsive experience across the application.

Scheduling Engine Enhancements

Scheduling Engine Action Script Output Values – Dynamic script output values can now be used in deliveries via parameters, including email subject lines and body content generated within the script.
Scheduling Engine Script HTML Output to PDF – Convert HTML output generated by scripts into PDF within the same task, ready to send via email or upload to SharePoint or a file system.

Variables

Global Variables – Available across the entire user session, reducing cross-wiring and simplifying complex workflow configurations.
Content Variables – Scoped to specific page content tabs, giving you more precise control over how dynamic data flows through your layouts.

URL Parameters

Support for custom Asset Intellect URL parameters within sections. This is particularly useful for report generation, printing, and asset switching while reusing the same tab content configuration.
URL Parameters can now be passed into Global or Content Variables, enabling more flexible and powerful workflow configurations.

New Dataset Parameter Type

Built for UNS mapping – allows the use of native Asset Intellect parameters to query any data source (database or REST API) and use those values within queries or section configurations.

AI InfluxDB Connector

Enables data retrieval from InfluxDB historians, allowing that data to be used within Asset Intellect alongside all other supported data sources.
